Executive Senior Assistant to the President
Christian Education has always been my passion. I spent 18 years in the classroom before joining the TKU staff. I love having the opportunity to serve our students during their college experience.
Advanced Training and Certification in the Treatment of Dyslexia, Southern Methodist University, 2008
- 2 years of graduate-level study
- University coursework and electives totaling 200 contact hours
- Practicum experience totaling 700 clinical hours of direct teaching to students
I have two children who are my joy! My son is a pastor and my daughter works in the arts.
The beginning of James 4:6 says, “But he gives us more grace.” I love that God’s grace never runs out. He will always “give us more” for whatever the future holds.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
In my spare time I like to run and hike. Destination runs with friends make all the ugly training worth it.
What do you like most about working at TKU?
I love our amazing staff and how in such a brief time strangers become friends and then later feel more like family. I love getting to hear the stories of students—how God moved in their lives to bring them to TKU, what He is doing now in their lives and where they are going when they leave.
