The Campus Store is hosting its second book club this spring for TKU students, faculty, and staff. Members will read and discuss a historical fiction selection by bestselling author Kathleen Y’Barbo. Y’Barbo is a multiple Carol Award and RITA nominee of more than 80 novels with almost two million copies of her books in print. The club will meet the last Tuesday of every month to discuss a book everyone will read together. At the end of the reading, the Campus Store will host an author reception where members can ask questions and get to know the inspiration behind the book.

Need more encouragement to join? Check out the feedback from past participants:
“I love carving out time to talk about books and getting to know people more!”
“I joined for fellowship and meaningful discussions. Yes, it met expectations!”
“I enjoyed forming new relationships with people at TKU.”
“I feel that talking about literature is just a springboard to facilitate talking about God, family, relationships, and our lives. We need that time to bond with each other, to feel like we belong, and to encourage each other that we are not alone in our struggles. I do enjoy the fact that the meeting is right after work for me. That makes it efficient and doable.”
In response to the question, “What did you like most about the author reception?”
“Meeting a new, interesting person.”
“Lisa is a hoot! I have never met anyone quite that interesting! Ha! She is so sweet.”
