The King’s University’s Bachelor of Worship Leadership Program has launched an online option for the Spring 2022 semester. For the first time since the program launched in 2017, students will have the option of earning their degree exclusively online. Students who prefer to earn their degree on campus may continue to do so at The King’s University’s campus in Southlake, Texas.
“We are so excited to offer this program online,” says Worship and Music Studies Coordinator Jordan Covarelli. “By making this move to include an online offering, we are allowing worship leaders from around the globe the opportunity to receive fully-accredited education and training in the pastoral, theological, musical, and technical skills, habit, knowledge, and wisdom needed to be a worship pastor for the modern church—all without leaving their current church home.”
TKU’s Bachelor of Worship Leadership degree helps students to focus on cultivating pastoral skills while simultaneously honing their crafts, preparing them to lead worship for the local church or synagogue. Worship leadership students will have the unique opportunity to learn alongside the worship leaders at Gateway Church. And now that the program is available online, students can continue serving in their local churches while earning credit for their ministry experience.
“The Bachelors in Worship Leadership is a degree that equips the called to do the work of worship ministry in the modern local church,” says Worship and Certification Studies Director, Dr. Aaron Crider. “From excellence in musical craft to sound theological training, the Bachelors in Worship Leadership is a solid foundation for the twenty-first century worship pastor.”
