The King’s University (TKU) is excited to announce its newest academic program: the Master of Organizational Leadership (MOL) degree. This new program will replace the Master of Spiritual Leadership (MSL) degree, and its purpose is to equip people who see business as ministry as well as current church and ministry leaders.
“The Master of Organizational Leadership is a leadership program with the heart of a seminary,” says Dr. Frank Markow, Dean of Distance Education and Professor of Leadership Studies. “This is a great degree for ministry-minded business leaders who see business as a way to impact and advance the gospel in the marketplace.”
The curriculum offers a substantial amount of organizational leadership, as well as foundational biblical and theological studies and practical ministry studies. With its combined focus of personal development, practical ministry skills, and leadership and organizational studies, this degree will prepare students with advanced thinking and knowledge in many areas that can have a direct and immediate impact on their current ministry, as well as the critical thinking ability to solve the complex issues they will face in the future.
With its hybrid learning approach, the Master of Organizational Leadership can be earned online with one on-campus cohort per year over the course of the degree’s two-year program. Each one-week, on-campus cohort will take place at the TKU University Campus in Southlake, Texas.
Students currently enrolled in the Master of Spiritual Leadership program can choose to graduate with an MSL or MOL degree. Fall 2019 and subsequent students and will be enrolled in the MOL program.
