Bishop Kenneth Ulmer, vice-chairman of The King’s University Board of Trustees and senior pastor of Faithful Central Bible Church, made an appearance on Today With Hoda & Jenna on Monday, November 9, alongside Rabbi Steve Leder of Wilshire Boulevard Temple. Both men are spiritual leaders in the Los Angeles area and have developed a remarkable friendship.
Show hosts Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager asked them about how the people in our country can come together and heal after such a tumultuous and divisive political season. “There’s a passage in the Bible that says weep with those who weep and rejoice with those who rejoice [Romans 12:15],” said Bishop Ulmer to Jenna Bush Hager. “There are people around the world who are split. Some are dancing, some are rejoicing, and some are weeping. I [am trying to] help us understand that the love of God is large enough to embrace our differences.”
