November 16, 2018— The Office of the Registrar at The King’s University is pleased to announce a new service they have begun offering in fall 2018. Through a partnership with the National Student Clearinghouse, TKU students and alumni will now be able to order and receive official transcripts through an easier, faster, paperless eTranscript service.
“The previous process required multiple departments in order to receive payment, print the transcripts, and log the information, which could take up to two weeks,” according to Derek Pritchett, coordinator of registrar services at TKU. “Now, everything is done digitally and in one place, including the payment. With this new service, transcripts are often processed and sent the same day. There are no forms to hassle with and students can even receive email and text updates on the status of their order!”
Current students can access the transcript request link in the Student Portal under the Registrar Services page or the Forms Directory. Alumni can access the link by visiting the University’s website and clicking Request a Transcript on the Registrar page.
“The Office of the Registrar is so excited to partner with the National Student Clearinghouse to help improve both student and alumni experience by making ordering transcripts that much easier,” says Megan Grondin, TKU’s registrar. This service is one of several improvements the University has made in the 2018-19 academic year in a continual effort to better serve those who have entrusted their ministry training to The King’s.
