University Recognized for Online Learning Excellence (ACO), a leader in higher education information, resources, and rankings, has recognized The King’s University for their excellence in online learning.

“We wanted to honor the colleges and universities setting the bar for online learning,” said Dan Schuessler, CEO and Founder of “These schools are going above and beyond the industry standard to help make online education programs an excellent option and more affordable.”

Several criteria were considered in TKU’s ranking among the Best Online Colleges in Texas for 2018, including number of online programs offered, student-to-teacher ratio, and percentage of students receiving financial aid. ACO has distinguished its ranking scale by using a Peer-Based Value metric, or PBV. A “bang for your buck” metric, the PBV compares the cost of a program to the cost of other programs with the same or similar qualitative score. An in-depth look at the University’s ranking and the detailed methodology can be seen on ACO’s website.

Distance education is an increasingly popular option for students who want to earn their online ministry degree but do not have access or time to travel to campus. TKU’s extensive online education program offers students the flexibility and convenience of online classes and degrees, and can help them fulfill the calling God has placed on their life, no matter where they live. TKU now offers ten degree programs that can be earned entirely online, including the Associate of Christian Ministries, Bachelor of General Christian Studies, Master of Divinity, and several degrees with a concentration in Messianic Jewish Studies.
