The King’s University invites you to the worldwide premiere of the feature film documentary The Preacher to the Popes: Raniero Cantalamessa about the life of one of the premier teachers and leaders in the global charismatic renewal over the past fifty years. This is more than the story of the longest-serving Preacher to the Papal Household. Yes, the Pope has a preacher! Father Cantalamessa’s unique life story includes providing personal pastoral ministry to the papal household over the past forty years, being a leader in bringing the charismatic renewal to the Catholic Church, and building bridges of unity across many streams of the Body of Christ through the ministry of the Holy Spirit. It’s a story of a relationship with Jesus, the power of authentic joy, and relational unity that shows the truth of the gospel and the power of the Holy Spirit.
“The King’s Seminary is honored to serve as host to a special film screening event,” says TKU Provost and Dean of the Jack W. Hayford School of Graduate Studies.
The event is free, but tickets can be reserved online. After the 75 minute film is shown, there will be a time of question and answers with the director and executive producer of the film. The screening is on Monday, December 6, at 6:30 pm in Southlake. Reserve your free tickets here.
