The Jack W. Hayford Endowment was established in 2019 to honor the incredible legacy of its’ namesake. As a result of generous donors like you, the Jack W. Hayford Endowment has surpassed $2,900,000 and growing. The endowment provides strategic funding that will resource The King’s Seminary in perpetuity.

To honor a rich history

Pastor Jack Hayford was a bridge builder, connecting denominations, politicians, movie stars, and people of all backgrounds to the cross. He was an extraordinary influence in the kingdom of God, and the Jack Hayford Endowment will ensure that his legacy continues at The King’s University for generations to come.

To equip the ministry

The Jack Hayford Endowment for The King’s Seminary will help meet the needs of pastors, Christian leaders, and those seeking a Spirit-empowered education.

The principal of the endowment will never be spent. The interest from the endowment will be distributed to The King’s University to be used solely for The King’s Seminary within the University.

To empower diversity

The King’s University is founded on the principles of Pastor Jack Hayford’s life and teachings. Therefore, the candidates to benefit from this endowment are diverse and will represent a wide range of career pursuits.

About Jack W Hayford

Jack Hayford was the founder and chancellor emeritus of The King’s University (formerly The King’s College and Seminary in Los Angeles), which he founded in 1997. He was best known, however, as “Pastor Jack,” founding pastor of The Church On The Way in Van Nuys, California, where he served as senior pastor for more than three decades. A prolific and bestselling author, Hayford penned more than 50 books and composed 600 hymns and choruses. On January 8, 2023, Pastor Jack, one of the kingdom’s great worshippers, passed away and is now experiencing the greatest worship service of all.
