FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Southlake, Texas — The King’s University (TKU) is pleased to announce the appointment of Randy Beggs as Vice President of Student Services. With a variety of experience in higher education leadership, Beggs steps into this critical role with a deep commitment to student care, spiritual formation, and operational excellence.
Randy Beggs joins The King’s with a distinguished career marked by a passion for helping students succeed—academically, emotionally, and spiritually. His leadership journey spans student development, admissions services, and recruitment.
In his new role at The King’s, Beggs will provide strategic oversight to a range of student-facing departments, such as Student Development, including Campus Life, Student Success Center, Registrar, Student Financial Services and Admissions. His appointment comes at a pivotal time in the life of the university, as The King’s continues to grow its student body, academic programs, and Kingdom impact.

“Though new to The King’s, Randy Beggs brings seasoned experience in higher education that is already shaping the foundation for our future growth,” said Dr. Irini Fambro, President of The King’s University. “In this role, he cultivates an environment where students are seen, supported, and spiritually formed. From their first hello to their Kingdom placement, student services plays a critical role in creating a holistic student experience grounded in excellence and rooted in Kingdom values—ensuring that The King’s continues to raise Spirit-formed leaders who will impact the world.”
Beggs’ career in higher education began at Dallas Baptist University (DBU), where he held roles in admissions and recruitment. Over the years, he became known not only for his operational acumen, but for his relational leadership—building teams and systems that prioritize people over process and foster a thriving campus culture.
His leadership philosophy is grounded in the belief that student development is Kingdom development. “I believe the college years are one of the most spiritually formative seasons in a person’s life,” said Beggs. “At The King’s, we have a sacred responsibility to shepherd students as they discern their calling, grow in Christlikeness, and prepare to serve their churches and communities. It’s a privilege to join a university that values that sacred trust.”
Beggs’ arrival at The King’s reflects a growing emphasis on the whole-student experience. As higher education continues to evolve, universities like The King’s are leaning into their mission to support students not only through academic rigor, but through spiritual mentorship, community connection, and practical resources. The Office of Student Services plays an integral role in making that vision a reality.
“From the moment a student steps onto campus or logs into their first online course, our job is to let them know they belong here,” said Beggs. “We want every student to experience the presence of God, the strength of community, and the confidence that they are not alone on this journey.”
Beggs holds a Master’s in Christian Education and brings with him a proven record of improving student retention, elevating campus engagement, and strengthening university systems to better serve students. His collaborative leadership style and Kingdom-led approach align seamlessly with The King’s mission to equip men and women for effective leadership and ministry.
The addition of Beggs to the executive leadership team underscores The King’s ongoing commitment to developing a university culture where students thrive. His appointment follows a series of strategic hires aimed at strengthening the institution’s infrastructure while remaining deeply rooted in its founding values: Word, Spirit, and Kingdom.
Founded in 1997 by Pastor Jack Hayford, The King’s University exists to equip Spirit-formed leaders for ministry, marketplace, and mission. Through accredited undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs, The King’s offers biblically grounded, Spirit-empowered education in a variety of formats, including on-campus, online, and hybrid modalities.
Beggs and his wife, Anne, are passionate about family, faith, and fostering authentic community. Together, they have raised three children and have dedicated their lives to service in both the church and the university.
With this appointment, The King’s University moves forward with renewed vision and strengthened leadership to meet the evolving needs of its students—and to continue raising Kingdom leaders who will bring transformation to the world.
