Introduction

1.1. The King’s University Scholarship Giveaway (the “Promotion”) is organized and administered by The King’s University, Texas (“The King’s University” or the “University”).

1.2. By participating in the Promotion, participants (“Participants” or “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before participating.

Promotion Period

2.1. The Promotion is only on April 2, 2025 (between 9 am–3 pm CST), April 12, 2025 (10 am–12 pm CST), or April 23, 2025 (11 am–1 pm CST).

Eligibility

3.1. The Promotion is open to all individuals at least 18 years of age who attend one of The King’s University spring 2025 recruiting events by the end of the Promotion Period and meet all other eligibility requirements as stated in these Terms and Conditions.

3.2. Participants must be legal residents of the United States.

3.3. Employees, officers, directors, representatives, and agents of The King’s University, along with their immediate family members, are not eligible to participate in the Promotion.

3.4. Individuals must be present in person (or virtually for April 23) for the respective event and must be in attendance at the time of the giveaway to be eligible.

3.5. The Promotion is limited to one $1,000 scholarship per new student and cannot be used in conjunction with other event-based scholarships.

Giveaway

4.1. Participants who apply to The King’s University during the Promotion Period and subsequently enroll at the University will be eligible to enter a random drawing for:

• One (1) $1,000 scholarship.

4.2. A winner will be selected at random using a fair and impartial method.

4.3. Award recipients must be registered for the Fall 2025 term by the registration deadline of August 4, 2025.

General Conditions

5.1. Participants must be in attendance in person (or attend online on 4/23/25) at one of the three recruiting events—TKU Experience, Graduate Preview Brunch, or TKU Virtual Experience—and must submit their application and all required documentation before or thereafter by the fall application deadline (June 29, 2025, for U.S. residents), be accepted to the University, and register for six (6) or more credit hours by August 4, 2025.

5.2. Participants must provide accurate and complete information when participating. The University reserves the right to disqualify any Participant who provides false or misleading information.

5.3. The King’s University reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, suspend, or modify the Promotion or these Terms and Conditions, in whole or in part, at any time and without prior notice if any factor interferes with the proper conduct of the Promotion as contemplated by these Terms and Conditions.

Liability & Legal Compliance

6.1. Scholarship recipients are responsible for any applicable federal, state, or local taxes and must comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

6.2. By participating, Participants agree to release and hold harmless The King’s University, its officers, employees, and representatives from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising out of participation in the Promotion.

6.3. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles.
