SARA Student Complaint Process

The King’s University participates in the State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (SARA), which establishes standards for the interstate delivery of postsecondary distance education.

Students must first attempt to resolve a complaint through The King’s University’s established Student Grievance Process. If a complaint related to distance education is not resolved through the University’s internal grievance process, an eligible student may appeal the complaint to the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, which serves as the SARA State Portal Entity for Texas.

Complaints involving student grades or alleged violations of student conduct policies are governed by The King’s University and the laws of the State of Texas and are not reviewed through the SARA complaint process.
