For almost 30 years, The King’s University in Texas has been faithfully carrying out the vision imparted to our founder, Pastor Jack Hayford, to train Spirit-formed men and women who are grounded in the Word, alive in the Spirit, and equipped to serve Christ and His Church. That vision hasn’t changed. But as the world changes, and as our reach and impact grow, we sensed it was time to express that calling in a clearer, more unified way.
This Christian university brand refresh is not just a new logo, a new color palette, or a visual upgrade (though you’ll notice those things too). It’s a prayerful, intentional re-articulation of who we are, why we exist, and where God is calling us next.
Why Now?
Over the past several years, The King’s University has expanded significantly. We’ve enhanced our Spirit-empowered academic programs, extended our online seminary presence, and welcomed students from around the world into a vibrant Christian learning community shaped by worship, formation, and mission. With growth comes the need for clarity, not just for how we operate internally, but for how we communicate the heart behind what we do.
We began this rebranding process by asking: What makes The King’s University unique in the landscape of Spirit-filled Christian higher education? What are the non-negotiables of our identity? What do students, alumni, and church leaders need to understand the moment they encounter us?
The result is a refreshed higher education brand that doesn’t move us away from our foundation but instead brings sharper focus to it.
The Mission at the Center
At the heart of the rebrand is a newly articulated mission statement—one that doesn’t change our DNA but reflects it more clearly:
The King’s University integrates biblical education and practical ministry to shape Spirit-formed individuals who follow Jesus, serve His Church, and are sent to impact the world.
You’ll notice it’s both formative and missional. It’s grounded in Scripture and empowered by the Holy Spirit. It’s a call not just to learn about ministry, but to live it.
This mission reflects the lived experience of our students, faculty, and alumni. From the classroom to the counseling office, from the church pulpit to the global mission field, The King’s exists to equip Kingdom leaders to go where God sends them.
A Look That Matches Our Identity
One of the most visible parts of any brand is its logo. Our new university logo is both modern and timeless, drawing from biblical symbolism, the history of the Church, and the values that shape our university. While we’ve moved forward stylistically, we’ve held tightly to what matters: clarity, unity, and mission alignment.
We’ve also refreshed our color palette and type system to better reflect who we are: bold but not flashy, grounded but not rigid, Spirit-led but always academically serious.
You’ll begin to see these updates rolled out across our website, digital platforms, and printed materials. More than visual branding, they’re part of a larger effort to align every communication with the purpose God has given us.

Formed. Faithful. Sent.
In a noisy and distracted culture, clarity is a gift. This brand refresh helps us speak with one voice, to prospective students, to ministry partners, to Christian leaders, about the kind of spiritual formation that happens here.
Our students aren’t just studying theology. They’re being spiritually formed. They’re not just learning leadership principles. They’re learning to listen to the Spirit. They’re not just called. They’re commissioned.
And that’s the heart of this new expression of our brand: to remind the world what The King’s University has always been about.
Inviting You Into the Story
This brand refresh is more than a marketing project. It’s a moment of alignment. And it’s an invitation.
We’re inviting our community, students, alumni, faculty, donors, pastors, and friends, to not only celebrate what God has done through The King’s but to help us carry it forward.
You’ll see brand videos, hear testimonies, and encounter new ways to engage with the mission. But most of all, we pray you’ll see a deeper truth come into view: that in a world of change, our foundation remains firm.
We’re still rooted in the Word. Still formed by the Spirit. Still sent with purpose.
We’re still The King’s University.
