Maziar (Maz) Vali is all about evangelism. “My passion is learning something in Scripture, sharing it with someone and getting them as excited about it as I am,” he explained.
The freshman from Muscle Shoals, AL (Alabama) says he felt drawn to come to The King’s University in Southlake, TX. “I chose TKU because it felt so natural being on campus, and also because God simply told me, ‘You belong here.”
The Cross Cultural Ministry major says his coursework as well as the help he received from the Student Success Center have greatly benefitted his life. “The classes I have taken have helped me start to see God’s calling on my life clearer,” he exclaimed. With the help of the Student Success Center, Maz was able to understand what type of learner he is and better apply himself in class.
TKU professors have also helped Maz in remembering what he has learned. “The professors are great at teaching, but are even better at getting students engaged to retain the material,” he explained. “Retaining the material, even if it’s a small amount, can make a difference outside the classroom.”
Considering TKU? Maz shares his advice. “God has his hand on the school. Being in a place where God has his hand — greatness is bound to happen.”
