Gordon and Freda Lindsay Memorial Scholarship

About The Scholarship

The King’s University has generously committed to assist students that have graduated from Christ for the Nations Institute (CFNI) in Dallas, Texas that have committed to attend the main campus of The King’s University in Southlake, Texas. This scholarship is to honor Gordon and Freda Lindsay, the founders of CFNI.

Scholarship Details

  • Full-time (12-18 hours), on-ground students will receive the sum of $500 paid in two (2) installments of $250 per semester for the first academic year at TKU.
  • Part-time (6-11 hours), on-ground students will receive the sum of $250 paid in two (2) installments of $125 per semester for the first academic year at TKU.
  • All qualifying students will be eligible to receive the Blessed Life Scholarship alongside the CFNI Scholarship.

Scholarship Eligibility

To be eligible for this award, applicants must:

  • Provide a CFNI transcript.
  • 75% of classes must be taken on-ground for full-time eligibility and 50% for part-time eligibility. (Ex. 9 credits on ground, 3 credits online = full-time; 3 credits on ground, 3 credits online = part-time)
  • Maintain a cumulative 2.1 GPA to meet the academic standards.
  • Maintain the lifestyle commitments listed in the Affirmation Statement signed by the student.
  • Attend 80% of chapel services each semester (for full-time undergraduate students only).
