Higher Education Emergency Relief Funding III (ARPA)

The King’s University received funds totaling $443,925 through the Higher Education Emergency Relief III ARPA to distribute directly to students.

As of June 30, 2021, The King’s University disbursed, from HEERF III, emergency financial aid grants to 211 in the amount of $332,361.

As of September 30, 2021, The King’s University disbursed, from HEERF III, emergency financial aid grants to 25 in the amount of $36,641.

As of December 31, 2021, The King’s University disbursed, from HEERF III, emergency financial aid grants to 6 in the amount of $10,433.

As of March 31, The King’s University disbursed, from HEERF III, emergency financial aid grants to 105 in the amount of $64,000.

As of June 30, 2022, The King’s University disbursed, from HEERF III, emergency financial aid grants to 0 in the amount of $0.

The King’s University created an application for students to determine which students would receive Emergency Financial Aid Grants and how much they receive. The different applications are listed below.

The King’s University provided the following to the students concerning the HEERF III ARPA funds:


Higher Education Emergency Relief II (CRRSAA)

The King’s University signed and returned to the Department of Education the Certification and Agreement and intends to use no less than 50% of the funds received under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act to provide emergency financial aid grants to students.

The King’s University received funds totaling $137,375 through the Higher Education Emergency Relief II to distribute directly to students.

The King’s University has distributed $137,375 as of June 30, 2021, to students under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act.

The estimated total number of students at The King’s University eligible to participate in programs under Section 484 in Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965 and therefore eligible to receive emergency financial aid grants under Section 18004(a)(i) of the CARES Act is 633.

As of June 30, 2021, The King’s University has disbursed emergency financial aid grants to 170 students in the amount of $137,375.

The King’s University created an application for students in order to determine which students would receive Emergency Financial Aid Grants and how much they receive under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act. Students were then reviewed to determine if they were Title IV eligible. Higher Education Emergency Relief I (CARES)

The King’s University signed and returned to the Department of Education the Certification and Agreement and intends to use no less than 50% of the funds received under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act to provide emergency financial aid grants to students.

The King’s University received funds totaling $137,375 through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act to distribute directly to students. The King’s University has distributed $137,375 as of September 15, 2020, to students under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act. The estimated total number of students at The King’s University eligible to participate in programs under Section 484 in Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965 and therefore eligible to receive emergency financial aid grants under Section 18004(a)(i) of the CARES Act is 392.

As of September 15, 2020, The King’s University has disbursed emergency financial aid grants to 73 students in the amount of $137,375. The King’s University created an application for students in order to determine which students would receive Emergency Financial Aid Grants and how much they receive under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act.
